Academy for Sustainable Communities
The Academy for Sustainable Communities was launched by the Deputy Prime Minister in February 2005. Its aim is to become a centre of excellence for the skills and knowledge needed to create sustainable communities.
The Academy's work will focus on three main areas. These areas are increasing skills and learning, targeting skills shortages, and sharing knowledge and expertise.
