Collaborative delivery
The 14-19 White Paper announced a new statutory entitlement to study specialised occupational diplomas at 14-16 and 16-19. As no single school will be able to deliver the full entitlement, they will need to work together in local partnerships to meet the needs of students. The process of one or more institutions working together in such a way is called collaborative delivery.
Collaborative delivery has several advantages, including offering wider educational choices for 14- to 19-year-olds, helping the move from pre- to post-16 learning, and supporting work-based learning.
