Vocational provision
Vocational provision is the availability of vocational learning in an educational institute.
The amount of provision on offer can vary widely.The 14–19 Working Group, as part of its work on reform, has recognised the weak vocational provision that currently exists.
Some of this is due to a lack of understanding of the benefits of vocational qualifications to business. The introduction of Centres of Vocational Excellence will help to develop and encourage vocational provision.
