West Midlands Regional Commissioning Statement 2010/11 for Young People's Learning sets out the regions response to the young people’s investment strategy as described in the national 16-19 Statement of Priorities and Investment Strategy 2010-11. The commissioning statement highlights the priorities for young people’s participation and success and the commissioning responses to address them in the region for the year 2010/11. National Commissioning Framework (NCF) consultation 
The NCF will set out the core systems for planning, commissioning, procuring and funding for the education and training for 16-19 year-olds, young people up to age 25 (where a learning difficulty assessment is in place) and young offenders in youth custody.

A draft version of the full NCF has been published for consultation (click here). The consultation will run until 17.00 hours on 5 February 2010 with the final version being published by the Young People's Learning Agency (YPLA) in April 2010.
