Minutes of the Young People|s Learning Committee meeting held on 10 November 2005 at National Office (London). Prior to the formal start of the meeting, the Chair announced the sad death of||Committee member Bob Reed. Papers were presented on: Progress on implementing a unique learner number and learner registration; Unlocking learner motivation; Funding; Area inspection action plans; Work based learning; the Response to the green paper, Youth Matters; the 14-19 implementation plan; and the Director of Learning s report. Items of any other business included the World Skills Competitions, the Olympics and Paralympics.
