DSAT 2006/07 software and documentation
The Data Self-assessment Toolkit (DSAT) for funding year 2006/07 works by analysing data exported from the Learner Information Suite (LIS) series 14. For WBL it also includes information from the provider funding report (PFR). The DSAT produces reports on these data. The DSAT replaces the previous year's computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs).
The DSAT has been designed to:
- assist funding auditors in the audit of colleges' final funding claims and ILR data for 2006/07, for colleges still undergoing the funding audit; and
- provide colleges with a toolkit to enable them to perform their own analysis, whether or not the college will receive a funding audit during 2006/07.
- give WBL providers data and reports to enable them to perform their own analysis and relate this to the PFR.
