DSAT 2008/09 software and documentation
The Data Self-assessment Toolkit (DSAT) for funding year 2008/09 will work by analysing data exported from the Learner Information Suite (LIS) series 16 and producing DSAT reports on these data.
The DSAT will give providers a toolkit to enable them to perform their own funding analysis, whether or not the provider will receive a funding audit during 2008/09.
The DSAT has been designed to:
- provide colleges with a toolkit to enable them to perform their own analysis on their ILR data;
- give Employer Responsive (Phase 1) and Learner Responsive (Phase 2) providers’ data and reports to enable them to perform their own analysis; and
- assist auditors in the audit of providers’ ILR data for 2008/09.
The DSAT for 2008/09 will be released in at least 3 phases:
-
Phase 1 Release - Employer Responsive (ER) Reporting (included in phase 2);
-
Phase 2 Release - Updates/ Additions to Phase 1 Release and to include Learner Responsive (LR) Reporting (available below); and
-
Phase 3 Release - Updates/ Additions to Phase 1 and 2 Releases and to include Cross-Collection (XC), Cross-Provider (XP) and Cross-Year (XY) Reporting.
The draft list of proposed Employer Responsive and Learner Responsive DSAT Reports for 2008/09 is contained in the DSAT Reports 0809 v0.03 document below. Note: There have been minor changes to the Employer Responsive reports from this document.
