Important note
Version 12.03 is designed to process 2004/05 data. Version 12.03 of the LIS requires a Microsoft Access version of the LAD extract dated on or after 29 June 2004.
Overview
The Learner Information Suite (LIS) version 12.03 validates ILR data for 2004/05, calculates derived variables and funding, and generates reports.
The LIS is designed for providers who return 2004/05 ILR data to the LSC via the provider batch route.
Relationship to other Council software
Previous versions of the LIS (except 12.01 or 12.02) can co-exist with version 12.03. Version 12.03 of the LIS requires a Microsoft Access version of the LAD extract dated on or after 29 June 2004.

Update files
This validation rules patch contains an updated validation rules table. Validation rule E22_2 was changed on the online data collection systems in June, to include the new region code ME for providers in Greater Merseyside. This patch for LIS updates this validation rule and does not affect any other part of LIS.
To apply an update file to the LIS, you should download and unzip the file. Within the LIS, select 'Options' then on the 'Maintenance' tab select 'Update Data' and specify the location of the unzipped update file. Full instructions are available in the User Guide below.
