Data protection

The pages below help explain the LSCs commitment to compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Data Protection - sharing data is about data that we share with partners and may be of particular interest to learners who have supplied personal details to their college or training provider at enrolment. It describes the partners that the LSC will routinely share data with, and describes what they use the data for.

Data Sharing Protocols are for organisations who would like to request access to learner data through our data sharing protocols. The LSC has developed a number of these protocols which ensure all organisations with access to learner data agree to comprehensive data protection rules and guidance.
