Statistical first releases (SFRs)
This section contains information on Statistical First Releases (SFRs) published by the LSC on post-16 education. Further Statisical First Releases on education are published by the Department for Education and Skills on the
DfES Research & Statistics Website.
Three Statistical First Releases are issued for each teaching year giving information on volume and success for post-16 education. These are referred to here as Early, Full-year and Full-year plus:
- Early - gives the number of students enrolled on 1 November
- Full-year - gives the number of students enrolled at any time during the year
- Full-year plus - gives success, retention and achievement rate data.
