FE benchmarking data
This page contains the data tables from the FE Benchmarking Data publications for the period 1998/99 to 2005/06. Each year we publish three years worth of data to ensure consistency between recent years to account for small changes in methodology. As of the 1st June 2006 the seperate Benchmarking Data websites will be shut down and this will be the sole source of this data.
The purpose of the Benchmarking Data is that it:
- Allows colleges to assess their performance and assists their planning of action to improve the success, retention and achievement rates of their students
- Supports colleges in the process of setting targets as part of their 3 year development plans set out in Success for All
- Informs the process of performance review by Local Learning and Skills Councils
