Updated Skills for Life strategy
Skills for Life, the national strategy for improving adult literacy and numeracy skills, was launched in 2001 with targets to help 1,500,000 adults to improve their skills by 2007 with a further 750,000 by 2010.
In March 2005, an East of England Regional Strategy was published focusing on provision up to the milestone target of July 2007 for the Eastern region.
This latest report is an update of the previous regional strategy giving an overview of future direction for provision in the East of England region to meet the 2010 milestone and celebrating the significant successes made to date.
