The London Region LSC Health and Safety Team held a networking conference on 26 March 2008. The aim of the conference was to help raise the standard of learner health, safety and welfare, the conference was for all LSC funded organisations across London.

The event provided updates on:

• LSC processes relating to accident and incident reporting
• The Safelearner blueprint
• Occupational Disease, presentation given by a Health and Safety Executive representative
• Corporate Manslaughter, presentation given by a Senior Associate Solicitor, specialising in this subject.

There was good attendance at the conference, with very positive feedback. Thank you to all who attended and the speakers on the day.
