The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) North East has put some leading figures from the region’s business community to the test as part of an initiative to demonstrate the importance of learning.
The LSC North East’s Summer of Skills will celebrate people’s achievements as well as signposting where to go for help to learn new skills or further develop existing ones.Business Leaders from around the region completed part of an A-Level General Studies paper to help her to understand some of the challenges faced by young people today as they progress from school into work.Olympic medallist and TV celebrity Roger Black visited those involved to reveal how they had fared and meet some of the businesses employees.Watch the podcast here
