Skills North East Joins the LSC in Rewarding Skills Achievement - LSC0708 019
Skills North East, the Regional Skills Partnership, has become the first of the region’s leading organisations to put its weight behind the Celebration of Learning and Skills Awards (CoLaS) 2007.
The annual CoLaS awards, hosted by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) North East, recognise the shining stars involved in education and skills, rewarding those individuals and employers who have gone the extra mile in skills development and learning excellence.
The Regional Skills Partnership, which was established more than two years ago to help drive forward the region’s attainment levels and economic success, will be specifically sponsoring the Investment in Skills Award, one of 10 categories that are up for contention on the night.
In recognition of their sponsorship, Skills North East will be able to take part in selecting the winner of its sponsored category. The will also present the award on the night, whilst their guests watch through the use of a private box at the CoLaS ceremony, which is being held at The Sage Gateshead, on – 12th October.
