itt_28497 – Community Grants in the North East region

The North East ESF Framework is committed to making ESF available in the form of small grants to appropriate Third Sector organisations to mobilise disadvantaged or excluded unemployed and inactive people to facilitate their progress towards employment. ESF Community Grants will support a range of activities aimed at assisting the disadvantaged or excluded to move closer to the labour market by improving their access to mainstream ESF and domestic employment and skills provision.

The invitation to tender is looking for an organisation to establish a regional Grants Co-ordinating structure to develop, deliver and manage a Community Grants Programme across the North East Region and to support people from the hardest to reach communities and individuals experiencing multiple disadvantage access mainstream ESF and domestic employment and skills provision.

This is currently advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) as an opportunity. The tender is being operated under an open procedure. It is a retendering exercise and previous applicants are welcome to submit a response against the revised specification.
