John Korzeniewski
Regional Director North West
"Welcome to the North West LSC website - we intend this site to build into a useful resource for the North West's learners and employers and our many providers, partners and stakeholders.
If you have any comments or suggestions regarding the site do please let us know."
Regional response to the economic downturn
The LSC is working very closely with the North West Development Agency, Business Link, and Jobcentre Plus to bring together our collective resources to offer support to companies and individuals affected by the economic situation. A plan has been developed which sets out the support which is available, and how the partners will work together to tackle the downturn. The full plan can be found here, and a summary can be found here.
The LSC has also produced a Practitioners Handbook which provides a summary of the support which the LSC can offer to employers and individuals, and that can be found here.

Further Education is also celebrated at the North West events, with award categories for the top FE student (Vocational) and top FE student (Academic) in each area.
