Paul is the Regional Director of Skills for the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in the North West. Paul has worked for the LSC since its creation and during this period he has been Executive Director of both Greater Merseyside and Cumbria.

Prior to joining the LSC Paul worked in the Department for Education and Skills as a Divisional Manager with responsibility for Training & Enterprise Councils and Careers Service operations policy. Earlier in his career Paul had worked in Government Office and Jobcentres.

Paul is married with two children and his interests include walking, gardening and sport.
