About us
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is responsible for funding and planning further education and vocational training in England. With the exception of higher education, our responsibility covers all areas of adult (over 16) learning.
Our vision is that, by 2010, young people and adults in England will have the knowledge and skills to match the best in the world.
Our mission is to raise participation and achievement through high-quality education and training that puts learners first.
