Regional Director - South West

Malcolm is currently the LSC's Regional Director for the South West of England.

Malcolm has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors. His early career was in market research, after which he moved into the engineering industry and held a number of senior management posts with Wiltshire-based Avon Rubber. In 1990, he was appointed Group Managing Director of an independent company manufacturing technical textile products in the UK and USA. He was appointed Chief Executive of Coventry and Warwickshire Training and Enterprise Council in 1994 and remained as Chief Executive when it merged in 1997 to form the Chamber of Commerce Training and Enterprise. He has been a governor at Further Education and University level.

Malcolm has two children and four grandchildren and his leisure interests include eating & drinking, as well skiing and gardening.
