Strategic Provider Briefing - November 2007
Mark Haysom, Chief Executive of the LSC, spoke to the South West region's providers about the Machinery of Government changes at a strategic briefing event in Bridgwater on 30/11/07. Mark answered questions from providers about how the creation of two new departments responsible for post-16 learning would affect learners and providers in the region. Afterwards, the SW Regional Director, Malcolm Gillespie, and members of his team outlined priorities for the region in 2008/09 including sessions on the Train to Gain Plan for Growth, regional commissioning and Apprenticeships.
