ESF Best Practice Events - March 2008
On 17 and 18 March, the LSC held two events relating to both the
2000-2006 ESF funding stream (Objectives 1, 2 and 3) and the
2007-2013 ESF funding stream (Competitiveness and Convergence).
The events covered the following topics:
2000-2006 funding stream (elements which can be taken forward to influence the 2007-2013 funding stream) –
· Best practice, specifically:
- Partnerships
- Case studies
- Internal and external evaluations
· Broader aspects - strategic fit of projects into local area or regional structures
· Update on the current evaluations of Objectives 1, 2 and 3.
2007-2013 funding stream –
· Update on the expected evaluations of Competitiveness and Convergence.
The
Objective 1 and Convergence Event was held on Monday 17 March at the Alverton Manor in Truro. The
Objectives 2 and 3 and Competitiveness Event was held on Tuesday 18 March at The Exchange in Bridgwater.
