ESF Provider Communication and Publicity Event - 19 September 2008 Added 24/9/08
Over 70 people attended this event, which was for all ESF contract holders and partners, to provide them with advice and guidance on effectively publicising their projects.
The purpose of the event was to:

Launch the
PR Toolkit which will offer ESF Providers guidance and support materials to enable them to maximise the publicity of their projects

Launch our plans for the development of the SW ESF website and encourage Providers to use it and have links to their projects included

Share good practice of a Provider who has successfully raised awareness of their projects

To share the ESF Publicity Action Plan and inform Providers of the support available

Evaluate ESF projects using case studies
ESF & OLASS Provider Event - 16 September 2008 Added 17/9/08
This event was for ESF providers in the South West to illustrate the benefits of working with the Probation Service and engaging Offenders.
The purpose of the event was to:
- illustrate the benefits of working with the Probation Service and engaging offenders
- develop providers’ understanding of the offender group as they are defined within the programme as a priority group
- ensure that providers are providing appropriate support and access.
- ensure that support is effective for the dedicated offender based project
- meet the Probation Service who will explain how offenders access support and how Providers can work closely with the Probation Service
Best Practice Events - 17 & 18 March 2008 Added 27/3/08
On 17 and 18 March 2008 the LSC held two events aimed at sharing best practice from the previous funding rounds (Objectives 1, 2 and 3) and taking that best practice forward into the new programmes (Competitiveness and Convergence).
