NEET Provision
NEET Provision provides a first-rung progression pathway for learners. Supporting the September Guarantee, provision is aimed at young people who are registered as not being in education, employment or training.
Schemes of work will offer a range of activities that aim to fulfil progressions onto E2E, Apprenticeships (including Programme-Led Apprenticeships), FE or Employment (with or without training). Progression pathways may also include provision funded through ESF where this sustains an individual in an education or training programme.
NEET Provision within the West Midlands was procured under open and competitive tender and will run from 1 August 2007 to 31 July 2008; guidance is specific to providers and partners within the West Midlands Region where learners, not in education, employment or training are identified as a priority in our Regional Commissioning Plan 2007/2008.
