Apprenticeships provide work-based training to young people and adults who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working. They are one of the best ways to fill the skills gap in the UK workforce. There are now more than 250,000 apprentices currently training on over 200 different Apprenticeships.

The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) can give you up to £30 a week to help you get more qualifications or vocational skills after 16. This includes full-time further education courses at college or school, an LSC-funded Entry to Employment (e2e) programme, or a Programme Let Apprenticeship.

Entry to Employment (e2e) is a programme to help you gain the skills you need to get a job, get into further education, or onto an apprenticeship.
