This Annual Plan sets out the strategic framework and key actions for delivering the national, regional and local objectives for North Yorkshire over the next year. It builds on the Annual Statement of Priorities for 2007/08; takes account of the objectives outlined in the LSC’s Agenda for Change and the Leitch Report; and aims to address the priorities of the Regional Skills Partnership. The Annual Plan has three main sections: Our foreword and introduction set out the challenges ahead, our targets, priorities and values; A summary of the strategic analysis, which presents analysis of the local economy and key learning and skills issues, plus key messages and actions; and Other Information, a summary of key areas which will support delivery of the plan, including partnership working, the LSC North Yorkshire council, equality and diversity, learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, European Social Funds, and health and safety.
