How to Apply

In preparation for the LSC application process it is essential that candidates review the following guidance prior to commencing an application in order to ensure you have all the information to make a successful application.

Job Search and Account Registration

All our current vacancies can be viewed on the LSC iRecruitment pages.

Before making an application for a vacancy you will be required to register an account on iRecruitment. Once you have registered an account you will be able to log in to your own account which will allow you to:

  • Search Vacancies
  • apply for a vacancy
  • upload your CV online
  • subscribe to job alerts
  • check the progress of your application/s

CV Preparation

As part of the LSC application process candidates are asked to submit a CV. It is essential that you tailor your CV to promote your suitability for any particular application according to the role profile, specifications and competencies of the particular role.

As part of the LSC application process it is essential that you evidence on your CV how you have demonstrated each of the required competencies highlighted in bold on the role profile. The full list of competencies for each role can be found on the role profile however the competencies in bold are the only ones you need to address on your CV for the purposes of the application process. You should aim to limit your CV to three pages or less.

Essential Candidate Information

The registration process will take approximately 10 minutes. Please note that you will be required to submit your CV during the registration process so please have your CV ready to upload.

  • Please note you will be required to complete the application process in one sitting. Once you initiate the application process there is no facility to save your application for completion at a later date. If you do commence the application process but fail to complete this process in one sitting your application will be automatically withdrawn and you will no longer be able to submit an application.
  • It is not possible to make a further application for a the same vacancy if you have previously been unsuccessful or have previously withdrawn an application.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly log on to their account in order to check progress of their application/s. We will reply to every application so it is important to review your account on a regular basis.
  • Candidates should be advised that applications may be subjected to security checks.
  • Candidates that are selected for interview will receive an invitation to interview to their personal email account so it is important that the email address provided on registration is correct and you check your email account regularly.
